Carseldine Green Space | January 2020

As part of the Carseldine re-development, a brand new green space with playing fields will be constructed at the south-east end of the project.
The venue will feature a new amenity block, two full-sized football fields and a junior field, 150 carparks and seating areas.
The green space is set for competition in January, 2020.


Carseldine is located on the grounds of the Queensland Government business precinct (old QUT campus) Since 2015, Carseldine is our major North Brisbane venue after calling Kedron home since 2008.


2020 Season

The proposed green space is expected to be ready for use in Januar 2020. We anticipate to return to Carseldine to commence a spring season competition.

Competition Details

Competition/Match Details
Carseldine is a mens and mixed 7-aside competition.
– Mixed teams are required to take the field with a minimum of two girls.
– Matches are 40 minutes with two 20 minute halves.
– Team captains are required to submit a seasonal player list at the start of the fixture rounds to identify and control players for finals eligibility and insurance purposes. All Kick It Touch players who take the field are covered under insurance. Click here.
-Players must play a minimum of three trials/fixture games to be eligible for finals.

Finals Structure

Teams will be ranked in accordance of skill level following week one trials where the seasonal fixtures draw will be accumulated.

The top four mixed teams of each division and top four mens teams will progress through to finals in week 9 of the competition.
Identical to the first week of the NRL finals, the top eight will be split in half, with the top four teams to play off for the major prize. The second four will play off for the minor prize.
Note: All teams play in round 9 and 10 regardless of standings.
