Coaching requirements

> All paid coaches are required to obtain a Blue Card prior to starting.

> Coaches are subject to training modules on child safety, coaching with children, managing risk and Game Day play safe.
These training modules are designed to educate coaches, while maintaining a safe and social Kick It 4 Kids sporting environment.

> All coaches will have access to a training session planner to best plan their training sessions.
As part of the planner, coaches will also have access to a term schedule and other resources to be able to plan ahead.

> Based on experience, coaches may be subject to further training.

Volunteer Parent Requirements

> Volunteer parents are not required to possess a Blue Card.

> Volunteer parents are subject to training modules on child safety, coaching with children, managing risk and Game Day play safe.
These training modules are designed to educate coaches, while maintaining a safe and social Kick It 4 Kids sporting environment.

> Parent who volunteer can only coach, referee and team manage their child's team. 

> Volunteers can only be a direct parent of a registered child. A grandparent or guardian is able to volunteer, but must obtain a Blue Card. 

> Parents who transition into a paid coaching role must obtain a Blue Card.
