Kick It 4 Kids Terms and Conditions

The outlined terms and conditions below are inline with all Kick It Touch Football & Kick It 4 Kids programs, venues, competitions and branded events across Australia. Please take the time to read the terms and conditions. By checking the box during the registration process you are bound to these terms and conditions.

Parents/Guardians 

1. The parent or guardian is responsible for their children and family members both on and off the field at each Kick It 4 Kids night.

2. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to allot fees by the predetermined date.

3. Once a child attends a session, their parent or guardian is liable for payment, at a minimum for that session unless prearranged.

4. Failure to pay fees in an acceptable time period, may result in expulsion. Kick It Touch Football reserves the right to use a debt collector agency to recover unpaid team fees. Debt collector fees will be added the total cost.

5. Kick It Touch Football reserves the right to charge parents or guardians a partial fee based on the number of sessions attended should a child pull out of not show during the season.

6. Fees paid using a third party application (Stripe) will have an added transaction fee outlined on the registration or payment forms. This transaction fee is non-refundable and is not redeemable.

7. Fees are due by week four of the competition.

8. For safety and insurance purposes, children below the age of 5 are not permitted on the field during warm up, warm down or games.

Sibling discount

The sibling family discount applies to two or more children of the same immediate family, and can be used across standard competitions, Introduction to Touch Footy program and school or club programs.

Sibling discount is outlined via the term information page and is automatically applied during a registration or payment form, or via an invoice.

Kick It 4 Kids coordinator discretion is applied to the use of all discount codes.

 

Refer a friend (RAF)

Refer a friend discount is outlined via the refer a friend registration form.

RAF discount is applied to new full term registrations. RAF incentive is not applicable to exisiting or past registrations.

Sign up must be completed via the refer a friend sign up link in the refer a friend email.

Discount code is automatically applied to the referred parent’s invoice. A single use unique code will be emailed to referring parents and is valid until the end of 2025.

RAF code can be used in conjunction with sibling discount. Discretion is applied by the Kick It 4 Kids competition coordinator.

Insurance

All registered Kick It 4 Kids players ive years of age and older are covered under insurance.

Children take the field at their own risk. Kick It encourages all parents or guardians to seek medical advice for their children before taking the field to ensure that they are healthy and able to play Touch Football.

All Kick It 4 Kids coaches undergo training to uphold a duty of care when on the field in the event of injury.

Registered children agree to be covered under Sports Personal Accident insurance policy (Arthur J. Gallagher). Personal accident terms and benefits can be found via www.kickit.com.au/insurance. Please get in contact your competition coordinator for a copy of the full policy or an insurance form as required.

Claims must be within 12 months of the injury to process a claim. Please make sure read through the terms of the policy and report any incident to your venue manager as soon as possible.


Code of Conduct

All registered players and teams must adhere to the Kick It Touch Football code of conduct. A full copy of the code of conduct can be found on our rules page.

Kick It 4 Kids trusts that all registered players will act in a social and acceptable manner. Any poor, negative or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Poor behaviour could include by not limited to;
1. Swearing, abusive or derogatory language towards a player, referee or spectator.

2. Verbal abuse that belittles a player, referee or spectator’s race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or ethnicity.

3. Dissent towards or arguing with a referee

4. Repeated or deliberate breaking of the rules.

5. Repeated contact or heavy/rough contact when on the field towards another player/s.

No player can take the field in barefoot, sandals or thongs. No metal studs or screw in tags are permitted. Moulded boots are accepted.

Violence is not tolerated at Kick It. A player, referee or spectator involved in an act of violence will be suspended immediately. Kick It reserves the right to ban any child, parent/guardian, referee and spectator who is involved in an act of violence and could result in the eviction from the competition. As required, the police may be involved if there is an act of violence.

Failure to adhere to Kick It’s code of conduct may result in individual bans or removal from the competition. Fees are void if a child, parent or guardian is removed from the competition for failing to comply with the code of conduct.

Games and Competition

1. No games are ever lost due to wet weather. Games are simply pushed back one week or rescheduled.
Please note Kick It 4 Kids will do everything it can to catch up games within a reasonable timeframe. This may result in the scheduling of extra sessions, possibly on an alternative week night or weekend.

2. All Kick It 4 Kids fields are hired from a primary user or organisation. In most cases the primary user will have control over the fields in the event of wet weather, damage to the field or if the venue becomes unusable. We will endeavour to take appropriate actions to ensue a competition is maintainable to completion.

3. Our sponsors are avid participants at Kick It 4 Kids and often supply vouchers or products to our players, or organise BBQs. Kick It Touch Football takes no responsibility for the harm, illness or damage these products may cause. Competition partners may be present at competitions and events. These third party stakeholders operate independently and are not a part of Kick It’s operations. We will aim to uphold a strong duty of care with our sponsors’ products and systems.

Media Consent

Parents or guardians consent to the sharing of photography or videos of their child when registered. Parents or guardians can revoke consent of sharing of images or videos at any time.

Multimedia is limited to Game Day events and will be used for website and social media use, print media or general marketing.  Images could be used for up to 12 months.

Parents who choose for their child not to be photographed or images displayed on the Kick It website, social media pages or contact used for marketing purposes, please contact your competition or program coordinator.

All media is stored and used in an appropriate manner and is secure.

Disclaimer and Privacy Policy

As a registered participant, Kick It 4 Kids will not be liable for any personal injury, loss or damage of personal property or illness that is sustained to that player at any Kick It competition, event or activity.

Kick It 4 Kids is committed to protecting your personal details. Your details will be collected for insurance purposes, administration, and to communicate directly as required.
