Referee Testimonial | Johnsy
"I was always interested in the technical side of the game, the finer points of the rules etc…so I gave refereeing a try and it became a great avenue for my focus and energies in that area, in helping provide a great game for others".
-
"I started as a way to get more involved in the game. The extra fitness is a plus, but the life skills learnt helped me grow as a person. Communication, decision making, conflict resolution; it's these skills I utilise in every day life for the better. Above all else, I got to meet new people and some are mates for life. The best decision I made".

"Refereeing for Kick it has been a great way to grow my contribution to my team, improve the way I play the game, improve my fitness. It’s been a wonderful way to give back to the competition and has quickly made my Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons my favourite part of the week. It’s a great way to grow your communication skills and decision-making skills and you’re very well supported by a great refereeing team".
