P-Dub has reclaimed their second Mens title in three seasons with a tight 6-5 win over Joeys in golden point extra time.
The stage was set for the two experienced sides to rekindle their long standing rivalry in the Stafford Summer grand final on Wednesday.

Player of the match Sam Gadsby sealed the famous victory with a sweeping run in extra time to cross in the opening set of six.

It was an explosive couple of minutes for Gadsby as he scooted down the sideline to tie the match at 5-5 on the last play of the game.

Joeys’ three-try hero Sam Turnbull crossed with five minutes remaining to give Joeys their second lead of the game.

North Brisbane Rep stars Joe Warren and Jack Woodbridge levelled the scores with two nifty tries from kicks in the 30th and 32nd minute

A spirited Joeys fight back that saw three tries scored in the 5 minutes either side of half time to bring the game back from the death. Former Taringa Tiger Jason West set up two tries and scored one of his own as Joeys skipped to a 4-2 lead.

Some lazy middle defence gifted Sam Gadsby his first try inside 10 minutes.

A swift reply from Joeys captain Ben Hayes sent current South Brisbane Tiger Aaron Tomoana over to give the boys in purple their first points.

P-Dub would draw first blood with Brenton Biddle crossing from a Sam Gadsby ball in broken play.

New Kicks On The Block have taken out the Stafford Summer Mixed Division One title with a 9-7 victory over Nek Set.

New Kicks who boast seven representative stars crossed early with a quick dump and split from Jack Coolwell to Jess Sleep to score in the corner. Jess would set up Aaron Tomoana moments later with a similar play.

Summer top try scorer Corey Pocock crossed for Nek Set’s first after collecting a kick from a kick on halfway.

Jess crossed for her second after pouncing on a clutch kick in the in-goal.

North Brisbane Sharks’ star Josh Pilks planted a short grubber to cut the lead to two points.

A first half hat-trick to Jess Sleep, blew the scoreline out to 6-2 at halftime.

New Kicks continued their scoring ways with Jayden Turnbull crossing soon after halftime. New Kicks captain Ben Hayes extended the lead to 8-2 minutes later after latching onto a grubber from 10m out.

The result was locked up with Jayden Turnbull crossing for his second off a crisp ball from Clint Wicks.

Late tries to Tim Lynch, Corey Pocock and Eryka Holland ensured a tense finish but one that was in vain.

Well done to Stafford Summer champions, Scrambled Legs (pictured) who claimed their first mixed division two crown with a 11-5 win over reigning division two champions Balls Deep.

What a difference a season makes with Balls Deep victorious over Scrambled Legs in last season’s division two grand final. This season, Scrambled Legs came from a 5-3 halftime deficit to storm home over their rivals.

First half times to Balls Deep captain Dan Nystrom (2) and Andrew Papas (3) hinted at a repeat of last season’s result. Long-range tries to Scrambled Legs fast-men Lorenzo Skelton and Alex Barnes provided some hope to the team under siege.

Quick second half scores to Lorenzo Skelton, Miles Evans and Sam Pang tied the scores before the Scrambled Legs girls got involved. Back-to-back tries to Tahlia Dickinson and Kelli Dickson blew the scoreline out to 9-5 mid way through the second half.

Robby McCafferty would push the score into double figures while setting up Lorenzo Skelton for his third try to ice the game.
