Stafford will host the 2019 Kick It State of Origin on Wednesday, July 17th.
The crown jewel of the Kick It Representative calendar will take place during winter season, one week after game one of the Holden State of Origin at Suncorp.
Hot off an emphatic, hard fought win last year, the Maroons will be looking to extend their winning streak against a hungry Blues side.
Lead by 2018 captain Jess Sleep, the star-studded Queensland side will be looking to press their claims once again for their venue teams.
Duel representative players Corey Pocock, Nick Gilliland, Brayden Barrett, Jayden Turnbull, Ben Burstow and Beau Hess have performed well early on and are a strong chance to retain their spots in their respective the sides.
Blues managers Adam Redmond and David Sercombe have a core group of players that will be looking to end the Maroon’s myriad of magic.
Teams for the 2019 Origin match will be selected by Queensland managers Clint Wicks & Ben Hayes and Blues managers Adam Redmond & David Sercombe throughout the Autumn and Winter seasons at each venue.
Origin sides will be announced on June 1st.
