Introduction to touch footy | 4-6 years

The introduction to touch program returns in term 3, 2025 following a rewarding launch last year.

Designed to focus on gross motor skills and basic touch football movements, the program is able to appeal to participants of all skill levels. 

A mixture of intrinsic and extrinsic learning, team games, skilled activities and lots of running made for strong learning curve in a short amount of time.

Activities such as passing, catching, kicking, chasing, and agility courses are a weekly staple.

Touch Football movements such as two-and-three person passing, learning what a play the ball is, and how to perform one; discovering the role of a dummy half and running onto the ball as a first receiver are key focal points.

The expectation is to play a structure touch footy game in the final weeks of the program.

What's included: Colourful Kick It 4 Kids cap and participation certificate.
What to wear: Participants are welcome to wear any comfortable clothing.
Footy boots or running shoes are ideal. Please remember to bring water and sunscreen (as required).
