Bonus Competition Points Incentive
Two bonus competition points will be awarded to teams who pay team fees by the start of week two.
Teams with late payments risk losing competition points or missing finals.
Forest Lake | Key Information
Teams will be ranked based on experience and trial performance.
During the fixture rounds, all teams will play each other once.
Double up matches may occur and will be based on team rankinng.
Teams will experience a fixtures draw that is as even as possible, with the top four teams moving through to finals (see below).

The top four teams will progress through to semi finals in week nine of the competition.
The winning teams from the semi final match will progress to the grand final in round ten.
Note: all teams play in finals weeks regardless of standings.
Finals Eligibility
To be eligible to play in finals matches;
- Players need to be on a team’s team list.
- Players need to play a minimum of three trial or fixture matches during the season.
- Injury exemptions may apply for players listed on team lists, but have not played the minimum game requirement.
Teams who are unable to field a team (of 6 players) must get in contact with the venue manager.
Please contact your venue manager if you have any questions on finals eligibility.
During the fixture rounds, referees will record player names for tries, try assists and 20/10s.
Statistics will go into the mens and women’s individual leaderboard located on the Forest Lake venue page.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners at the end of each season.
Notes:
Try assists are awarded at the discretion of the referee/s on the match.
Players who are removed from the field for poor behaviour are ineligible to win the individual leaderboard prize.
Game Information
Match: Teams will take the field with a maximum of seven players and a minimum of two girls.
Duration: Matches are 40 minutes in duration with halftime.
Team size: There is no limit to the amount of players that can be registered on a team.
Ages: The adults competition is limited to participants 12 years and over. Participants under the age of 18 must accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Participants under the age of 12 (often in mixed family teams) may be granted an exemption by the venue manager.
Forfeits + Bye Matches
Forfeits: Team forfeits result in a 5-0 loss against the forfeiting team.
Teams must take the field with five players listed on their team list by the end of the first half to constitute a match.
Bye match: Teams in a bye match will receive a 5-0 win. This can occur when there is an uneven number of teams in the draw.
1:00pm cut-off: Team captain’s who forfeit must let the competition coordinator by 1:00pm at the latest to ensure we can find a replacement team for their opponent.
Teams who forfeit after 1:00pm risk losing competition points and finals eligibility. Contact your venue manager if you're low on player numbers.
The Forest Lake competition is ten weeks in duration and includes trials, fixtures and finals weeks.

Game times will vary on a weekly basis; 3:00, 3:50, 4:40pm
Team captains are required to submit a seasonal player list prior to round one.
Team lists will be used for individual leaderboards, finals eligibility and insurance purposes.
Team captains are strongly encouraged to update team lists or add fill-in players as required.
Lists should be finalised by week five.
Teams will be required to play in team wear during the entire season.
At a minimum, teams should be wearing the same colour shirt/singlet.
Fill-ins are required to wear a shirt/singlet that matches their team’s colour or plain black shirt/singlet/bib.
