Established in 2021, the Kick It 4 Kids Junior Touch Football program has seen incredible growth in short period of time.
The program started as a way for Carseldine adult players to place their kids into junior touch footy coaching.
By the end of the first twelve months, this began to shift with plenty of external interest in the program.
Year two brought the first Game Day event at Carseldine with two teams participating. We also saw the launch of the Toowong location.
The community grew in year three with Forest Lake added, as well as the addition of designated team jerseys and a second Game Day event each term.
Term 4, 2024 brought the start of the Introduction to Touch Football program for children aged 4-6 years of age.
In 2026, we welcome the Wynnum Wallabies to the Kick It 4 Kids community.
A highlight of each location is the fun, friendly environment, which has helped create a close-nit community.
Whether that be parents chatting during sessions, coaches striking up bonds with the players or the participants making new friends; there has been such a positive social environment and it's something that everyone looks forward to on a weekly basis.
We're passionate to bring the Kick It 4 Kids product into new locations, schools, events and promote coaching opportunities within our team.
Why is our community and competition so important?
Giving back to the players with the support of parents, coaches and the local community is so rewarding.
With the support of everyone involved, we have created a fun, enjoyable environment to be a part of all year round.
