Young Guns v Pros
The second instalment of the under 30s v over 30's game yielded plenty of points in perfect conditions!
After succumbing to the Young Gun's in last year's match up, The Pro's had it all to prove; even if it was just some light banter!
We may never hear the end of this, Kick It veteran David Sercombe (Johnsy) scored the Guns' lone try, beating Will Smith on the outside with a trademark in-and-away.
Will may of lost track where the sideline was, but let's not let that distract from the try!
It was a highlight for the Gun's who were missing a handful of players in the squad.
For the Young Guns, the points flowed early and often.
Allan Hebbard, Lachlan Mothers and Will Smith each bagged two tries, while Locky Beetson and Britt Casablanca crossed the stripe.
Beetson (2), Aidan McGuire (2), Tom Lehmann, Smith and Hebbard each notched up a try assist.
The Pro's will have a chance at retribution in the second match of a three game series, Sunday August 27th at Carseldine.
